Role Description The Accounts Assistant / Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai, with an expected joining within 7 days. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting activities, including posting entries, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts.

Responsibilities include managing petty cash, monitoring receivables, supporting credit control processes, and assisting with finance-related documentation. The team member will coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve queries, prepare basic reports, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess skills in Accounting and Finance for daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess skills in Credit Control to track receivables, follow up on outstanding payments, and support credit risk management.
- Candidates should possess skills in Petty Cash management to record, monitor, and reconcile small cash transactions accurately.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams and to respond to account-related queries clearly.
- Candidates should ideally have working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced logistics workplace.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in an accounting role.
