The Accounts executive will manage centre-level accounting, cash handling and stores/inventory operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day payment accounting entries, cash handling and reconciliation for the centre.
Maintain and monitor stores/inventory of consumables and supplies.
Coordinate with vendors for procurement and timely stock replenishment.
Prepare periodic accounts and inventory reports for the Operations Manager.
Ensure compliance with financial controls and documentation standards.
Support statutory and internal audits with accurate records.
Process vendor invoices, petty cash, and employee reimbursements in line with approval workflows and turnaround timelines.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile against system records, investigating and reporting variances.
Liaise with the central finance team on ledger postings, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
Maintain vendor records, purchase orders, and contracts, and support negotiations for cost-effective procurement.
Key Deliverables
Accurate daily accounting and cash reconciliation
Optimal inventory levels with minimal stock-outs
Audit-ready financial and stores records
Zero material discrepancies in periodic stock audits and reconciliations
Timely, error-free MIS and reporting delivered to the Operations Manager
Candidate Profile
Candidates with prior accounts/stores experience in a hospital, retail, or similar operational setting, comfortable managing high-volume daily transactions and physical inventory in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally) and MS Excel is preferred, along with strong attention to detail and integrity in cash and stock handling.

Robust numerical ability and attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software
Sound understanding of basic accounting and inventory control principles
High integrity and reliability in cash and stock handling
Good coordination and vendor management skills
Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines
Qualification & Experience
Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent; 2-5 years of experience in accounts, cash handling, and stores/inventory management, preferably in a hospital, healthcare, retail, or hospitality setting.
