About the RoleWe are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Senior Accountant / CA to manage our core financial operations during a phase of rapid expansion.Unlike traditional retail, our brand scales across high-velocity Quick Commerce platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart) and high-volume Institutional Accounts (Airlines, Defense, Key Accounts). You will be responsible for complex reconciliation cycles, margin analyses, GST/compliance, and working capital optimization across these specialized channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quick Commerce & Institutional Reconciliation

- Q-Commerce Sales Reconciliation: Execute daily/weekly settlements and automated reconciliations for Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, and Amazon.
- Deduction & Credit Note Audit: Track, verify, and reconcile platform deductions, promotional allowances, listing fees, damaged stock returns, and platform commission invoices.
- Airline & Key Account Billing: Manage high-volume institutional invoicing for airline partners (In-Flight Catering & Branding), ensuring precise PO-to-invoice matching and timely payment collection.

2. Inventory Accounting & COGS Management

- Monitor raw material (cocoa, coffee beans, packaging materials) and finished goods inventory across central warehouses, dark stores, and third-party logistics (3PL) nodes.
- Track Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), yield variances, and wastage during manufacturing and packaging.




- Conduct periodic physical inventory audits and reconcile physical stock with Tally/ERP records.

3. Taxation, Statutory Compliance & Audits

- Direct end-to-end GST compliance: filing GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, matching 2B reconciliations, and managing e-way bills for interstate inventory transfers.
- Ensure accurate computation and timely deposit of TDS/TCS and monthly statutory dues.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory financial audits, tax audits, and year-end closures.

4. Cash Flow & Management Reporting (MIS)

- Prepare weekly channel-wise revenue, gross margin, and contribution margin (CM1/CM2) dashboards for leadership.
- Manage vendor payouts, airline trade credit cycles, and working capital forecasting.
- Maintain meticulous books of accounts up to finalization of Balance Sheets and P&L; statements.

Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills)

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Inter-CA / M.Com with 35 years of strong post-qualification experience in D2C, FMCG, or retail distribution.
- Channel Expertise: Direct experience managing accounting for quick commerce aggregators (Blinkit, Zepto) or major institutional B2B/airline clients is highly desirable.
- Tech Stack: Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime / Zoho Books / SAP / ERP systems and expert-level MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, automated reconciliation sheets).
- Compliance & Tax: Deep understanding of GST regulations, HSN code classifications, e-invoicing norms, and TDS/TCS mechanics.
- Mindset: Numbers-obsessed, proactive, and capable of holding channel managers accountable for credit terms and settlements.
