Role Description The Accounting Intern role at KATCH GO is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The intern will assist with recording and reviewing journal entries, supporting the preparation and analysis of financial statements, and maintaining accurate ledgers. Daily tasks include working with accounting software to update transaction records, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

The intern will also help the finance team with basic budgeting or cost-tracking tasks, data entry,



and documentation, while ensuring compliance with internal processes. This role provides hands-on experience in a growing tech-driven company and offers exposure to accounting practices in a dynamic, operational workplace.

Qualifications

- Foundational understanding of Finance and Financial Statements, with the ability to interpret basic reports.
- Practical exposure or coursework in Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger maintenance.
- Familiarity with Accounting Software and related tools for data entry and reconciliation.
- Strong Analytical Skills and attention to detail for reviewing transactions and identifying discrepancies.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other standard office applications.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity, willingness to learn, and ability to follow structured processes and deadlines.
