Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant (Billing) to join our textile business.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting, billing, Tally, Excel, and day-to-day financial operations. The role requires someone who can maintain accurate records, handle billing and accounts efficiently, and support the smooth financial operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day billing and accounting activities.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- Handle sales billing, purchase entries, receipts, payments, and expense records.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Perform bank reconciliation and maintain accurate cash and bank records.
- Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Process payroll and maintain employee expense records.
- Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Support statutory compliance and maintain required financial documents.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary records when required.
- Identify discrepancies and take necessary corrective action.




- Suggest improvements to make accounting and billing processes more accurate and productive.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in the textile or retail industry will be an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of Tally is required.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and day-to-day financial operations.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications Candidates with knowledge or experience in the following will be preferred:
- GST and Indian tax regulations.
- Statutory compliance and financial reporting.
- Retail or textile accounting.
- Inventory and stock-related accounting.
- Payroll and employee expense management.
