Shashi Foods is looking for an experienced Accounts & Day Book Executive to manage daily accounting, sales reconciliation and cash records for our multiple retail outlets and factory.
This is a hands-on accounting position requiring practical experience with BUSY Accounting Software and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and verify daily sales and purchases in BUSY.
- Prepare daily sales reports and consolidate data from multiple outlets into one day book.
- Record expenses and verify them against supporting bills.
- Reconcile cash, UPI and card collections against sales reports.
- Track cash handovers and bank deposits.
- Reconcile opening and closing balances.
- Investigate and report differences in daily balances.
- Maintain accurate outlet-wise and consolidated accounting records.
- Coordinate with outlet staff to resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare daily and periodic management reports.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Practical working experience with BUSY Accounting Software is required.
- Strong Excel skills are essential, including:
- SUMIFS
- XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP
- PivotTables
- Data Validation
- Reconciliation and reporting formulas
- Experience with multi-outlet accounting and cash reconciliation is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies independently.
