Role Description This is a full time Accountant role based in Idukki, offered in a hybrid model that combines on-site work with some work-from-home flexibility. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing periodic financial statements and reports.

Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, supporting budgeting and cost control, and assisting with tax and regulatory compliance. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, maintaining accurate documentation,



and supporting management with financial analysis to guide decision-making for the business.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
- Familiarity with tax rules, statutory compliance, and audit preparation in the food or manufacturing sector is an advantage.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets; ability to work with digital tools in a hybrid work environment.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records under deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role, preferably within FMCG or food products companies.
