Role Description The Accountant role at Moonglade Shipping and Logistics Pvt Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, preparing and reconciling ledgers, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, preparing monthly and annual financial statements, and assisting with budgeting. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations,



and providing timely financial reports to management.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including journal entry posting, ledger maintenance, reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
- Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable and receivable management, billing, invoicing, and cash flow monitoring.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation, compliance with local regulations, and familiarity with audit processes and reporting requirements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and general MS Office tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and solid organizational and time-management abilities.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operations, logistics, and management teams.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications (such as CA/Inter CA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Experience in the shipping, logistics, or supply chain sector is beneficial, along with familiarity with cost allocation and project-based accounting.
