We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant / CA Intern to support the Finance & Accounts function. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, documentation, reconciliations, compliance support, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle purchase, sales, expense and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, payment records and supporting documents.
- Perform bank, ledger and account reconciliations.
- Assist in preparation of monthly MIS and financial reports.
- Support GST, TDS and other applicable statutory compliance activities.
- Assist in preparation of GST returns, TDS workings and related documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial records and supporting documents.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Verify accounting entries and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
- Monitor receivables, payables and outstanding balances.
- Maintain proper filing and record-keeping of financial documents.
- Assist senior management/accounts team with financial analysis and other accounting-related tasks.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting procedures and applicable statutory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CA Articleship / CA Intern or equivalent qualification.
- Good knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS and basic statutory compliances.
- Working knowledge of Tally / ERP and MS Excel.
- Robust numerical and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with the accounts team.
