We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Kukulkan Manpower Consultancy. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions. This is a full-time position based in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting and possess proficiency in TDS, Tally, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting
- Proficiency in TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), Tally, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
- Robust knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Indian tax laws and regulations is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and legal regulations
- Handle general accounting tasks, including journal entries and bank reconciliations
- Assist in tax preparation and filing
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
