Role Overview

JMP Industries is looking for an experienced and responsible Head Accountant / Accounts & Finance Manager to independently manage the company’s complete accounting and finance operations.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, statutory compliance, banking, receivables/payables, financial reporting and effective utilisation of our ERP and CAT PRO systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle complete day-to-day accounting operations, including purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, payments, journals and ledgers.
- Maintain and monitor accounts through the company’s ERP system and CAT PRO system.
- Ensure proper accounting and financial data flow between Purchase, Stores, Production, Sales and Accounts.
- Manage GST, TDS, e-invoicing, e-way bills and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare and monitor GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GST reconciliations and TDS returns.
- Handle bank reconciliation, customer reconciliation and vendor reconciliation.
- Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable and ageing reports.
- Follow up and provide regular reports on outstanding customer payments.
- Verify purchase bills, invoices, payments and supporting documents before processing.
- Maintain proper records of raw material, WIP, finished goods, stores and inventory-related accounting.
- Assist in monitoring manufacturing costing, consumption and profitability.
- Prepare monthly MIS, P&L;, Balance Sheet,



cash-flow and management reports.
- Monitor daily cash flow and working-capital requirements and provide timely updates to management.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, CA/tax consultants, customers and suppliers.
- Manage statutory, tax and financial audits and ensure all records are audit-ready.
- Maintain proper accounting controls, documentation and approval processes.
- Supervise the Accounts team and ensure timely completion of all accounting activities.
- Identify discrepancies, financial leakages or unusual transactions and immediately bring them to management’s attention.
- Ensure complete accuracy, confidentiality and integrity of company financial data.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and finalisation of accounts.
- Excellent practical knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and CAT PRO.
- Excellent MS Excel skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing / engineering / auto-component / foundry industry will be preferred.
- Good understanding of inventory and manufacturing accounting.
- Robust analytical, reconciliation and reporting skills.
- Ability to independently manage the Accounts & Finance function.
- Honest, responsible, detail-oriented and proactive.

Qualification B.Com / M.Com preferred.CA Inter / CMA Inter / CA / CMA will be an added advantage.

Key Requirement The candidate should be capable of independently taking ownership of the complete Accounts & Finance function of JMP Industries, rather than only performing data-entry or routine accounting work.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
