- Accountant Location: Chennai Experience: 8+ years Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for an Accountant with experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and financial categorization, preferably with exposure to international markets such as the US, Dubai/UAE, or other global markets. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with accounting software and a good understanding of bookkeeping and tax-related processes.
Key Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities.
- Record, categorize, and reconcile financial transactions accurately.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and ledger maintenance.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with international tax filing and compliance for US, Dubai/UAE, or other international markets.
- Perform financial data categorization based on applicable accounting requirements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare basic financial reports and accounting statements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, or external accountants/tax consultants when required.
- Ensure timely completion of accounting and filing-related activities.
Required Skills • 8+ years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and transaction categorization.
- Experience with Zoho Books, Quick Books,Tally.
- Positive knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
