The Accountant is responsible for managing the hospital's financial records, maintaining accounts, processing payments, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.

- Prepare and verify vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment entries.

- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

- Monitor patient billing, insurance claims, and collection records.

- Reconcile bank statements, cash transactions, and ledger accounts.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

- Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.

- Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control activities.

- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.

- Maintain payroll records and support salary processing.





- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.

- Utilize accounting software and ERP systems for financial management.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.

- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

- Effective communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- CA / CMA / B.Com / M.Com qualification.

- 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.

- Knowledge of hospital billing and insurance processes is an added advantage.
