Job Purpose The Accountant – Crew Payroll will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of crew salaries, wages, allotments, deductions, reimbursements, and other payroll-related transactions for seafarers.

Key Responsibilities

- Process monthly payroll for seafarers/crew as per approved salary scales, employment contracts, and company policies.

- Verify crew wages, overtime, leave pay, allowances, bonuses, deductions, and other applicable payments.

- Prepare vessel-wise crew payroll and ensure timely salary disbursement.

- Verify crew joining/sign-off dates and calculate wages based on actual days onboard.

- Process wage adjustments, pending salaries, advances, deductions, and other payroll corrections.

- Prepare and process crew allotments/remittances to nominated beneficiaries as per crew instructions.

- Coordinate with the Crewing/Operations team regarding crew movements, contract periods, rank changes, promotions, and salary revisions.

- Verify supporting documents such as employment agreements, wage statements, joining/sign-off reports, and approved payroll instructions.





- Reconcile payroll data with bank statements, vessel accounts, and accounting records.

- Prepare monthly payroll reports and vessel-wise cost statements for management review.

- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure proper filing of supporting documents.

- Handle crew salary-related queries and coordinate with relevant departments for timely resolution.

- Ensure compliance with company payroll procedures, accounting standards, and applicable maritime requirements.

- Assist in preparing invoices, debit/credit notes, and other finance-related documents related to crew management.

- Coordinate with auditors and provide payroll-related documents and supporting schedules when required.

- Maintain confidentiality and security of crew salary and personal information.

- Support the Finance team in other accounting and payroll-related activities as required.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
