Position Details:

Title: Accountant & Bookkeeper

Location: Begumpet, Hyderabad

Shift: Night Shift (6:30 PM IST – 3:30 AM IST) –

Hard requirements (non-negotiable)

- 3–7 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting (with retail experience is plus)
- experience on QuickBooks/ or Tally or Zoho . You must be able to run bank feeds, reconcile accounts, and close a month without supervision.
- Retail POS reconciliation experience. You tie daily sales, cash, card settlements, and deposits back to the POS every day. You know why a variance happened, not just that it exists.
- Reliable US-hours availability. You must work at least 6 hours inside 9 AM–5 PM Eastern, Monday to Friday, with a working internet backup and power backup. No exceptions.

What this role demands

- Accounts payable: enter and code distributor and vendor invoices, match them to deliveries, and schedule payments.



Liquor distributors often require prompt or COD payment, so you protect the store's ability to keep ordering.
- Weekly: produce a cash position and payables report, plus an inventory and margin exception list covering negative margins, cost changes, and shrink.
- Month-end: close within 7 business days with bank, card, credit, and payroll reconciliations, and deliver a P&L; and balance sheet with short variance commentary.
- Payroll: process payroll and payroll tax deposits through the store's payroll provider.
- Compliance support: prepare sales tax filings and keep license renewal dates, tax deadlines, and required records organized. You prepare the file, and the CPA reviews and files.
- CPA liaison: deliver year-end and quarterly packages to the outside CPA with no scrambling.
- Owner reporting: give the owner a one-page monthly summary showing what sold, what it earned, and where cash went.
