Role Overview

We are looking for a GST-focused Accounts professional with solid hands-on experience in GST reconciliation, compliance, assessments, and tax planning. The role will primarily focus on GST-related accounting and optimization activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle GSTR-2B reconciliation and detailed vendor reconciliation.
- Manage end-to-end GST compliance, reconciliation, and planning.
- Review GST transactions and identify discrepancies, mismatches, and potential risks.
- Handle GST assessments, notices, and departmental queries in coordination with consultants/internal teams.
- Identify opportunities for GST savings and tax optimization within applicable regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely GST returns, workings, and reconciliations.
- Review Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility, utilization, and blocked credits.
- Maintain GST-related records, documentation, and audit trails.
- Support GST audits and provide required data/documentation.
- Monitor changes in GST laws,



notifications, circulars, and regulations and assess their impact on the business.
- Handle overall GST-related accounting activities and provide GST-related MIS/reports to management.

80:20 Working Structure

- 80% – GST: Reconciliation, compliance, planning, assessments, optimization, vendor reconciliation, ITC, GST accounting, and departmental matters.
- 20% – General Accounts: Supporting routine accounting activities and coordination with the Accounts & Finance team.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in GST reconciliation and compliance.
- Excellent knowledge of GSTR-2B, ITC and vendor reconciliation.
- Experience handling GST assessments and departmental matters.
- Strong understanding of GST planning and optimization.
- Good knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Real estate/construction industry experience would be preferred.
