Macmillan Education India is seeking an experienced Academic Subject Matter Expert – Computer Science to contribute to the development of the CBSE Global Curriculum.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Computer Science education, curriculum development, assessment design, and teacher training for K-12 learners.

Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with Curriculum, Assessment, and Teacher Training teams.
- Contribute to curriculum development aligned with CBSE and global educational standards.
- Map Computer Science content with K-12 learning outcomes, competency-based frameworks, and future-ready skills.
- Ensure vertical and horizontal curriculum alignment across grades.
- Develop and review curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, assessments, teacher resources, and digital learning materials.
- Provide subject matter expertise in Coding, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Thinking, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Robotics, and Digital Literacy.




- Support the design and delivery of teacher training programs and academic workshops.
- Review content for pedagogical accuracy, curriculum relevance, and alignment with CBSE competency-based assessment guidelines.

Eligibility

- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Computer Science education, curriculum development, educational publishing, EdTech, or teacher training.
- Strong exposure to the K-12 CBSE curriculum and competency-based education frameworks (mandatory).
- Experience in developing curriculum, assessments, and learning resources for Computer Science and emerging technologies.
- Exposure to international curricula such as Cambridge, IB, or other global frameworks will be an added advantage.
- Excellent academic writing, content development, and stakeholder management skills.
