About the Role

Excel Group is looking for an experienced and energetic Head – The ideal candidate should have strong academic leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with universities, institutions, faculty members, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage overall academic operations and academic strategy.

Develop, review, and continuously improve curriculum, courses, and academic programs.

Establish and maintain academic quality standards and processes.

Coordinate with universities, colleges, academic institutions, and other education partners.

Lead and mentor faculty, academic coordinators, and academic teams.

Monitor course delivery, academic performance, student engagement, and learning outcomes.

Develop SOPs, academic policies, guidelines, and quality frameworks.

Ensure academic programs remain aligned with industry requirements and emerging skills.

Support the development and launch of new UG, PG, certification, diploma, and skill-based programs.

Work closely with business, marketing, operations, and technology teams to ensure smooth program execution.

Handle academic reviews, audits, assessments, and performance reports.





Build and maintain relationships with senior academic leaders and institutional stakeholders.

Identify opportunities for academic collaborations, institutional partnerships, and new education initiatives.

Stay updated with developments in higher education, skill development, accreditation, and regulatory frameworks.

We are looking for someone who has:

8–15+ years of experience in academics, higher education, university operations, academic administration, or education management.

Strong understanding of curriculum development and academic administration.

Experience managing academic teams and faculty.

Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and presentation skills.

Strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building abilities.

Ability to manage multiple academic projects simultaneously.

Strategic thinking combined with strong execution capabilities.

Experience working with universities, colleges, EdTech, skill-development organizations, or education groups will be an advantage.

Educational Qualification

Required

Master's degree in Education, Management, or a relevant academic discipline.

Preferred

Ph.D. / NET / equivalent academic qualification from a recognized institution.

Relevant experience in higher education administration or academic leadership.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
