Role Description The Academic Counselor (Overseas Education) will provide personalized guidance to learners exploring study options abroad and help them select suitable courses, universities, and destinations. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, assessing academic backgrounds and interests, advising on eligibility criteria, and explaining admission requirements, documentation, and timelines. The role also involves coordinating with universities and partners, supporting learners through application and visa processes,



and maintaining accurate records of interactions and progress.

The counselor will contribute to information sessions, workshops, and outreach activities, while staying updated on international education trends, policies, and opportunities. This is a full time, on-site role based in Kochi.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide effective Student Counseling and Academic Advising for overseas education pathways.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with learners, families, and institutional partners.
- Capability in Career Counseling to align academic choices with long-term professional goals.
- Solid understanding of international Education systems, admission processes, and visa requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in overseas education consulting, student services, or academic counseling is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in using office and CRM tools to manage learner data and communication.
- Empathetic, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, learner-focused environment.
