Role Description The Academic Advisor – International is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role involves providing individualized academic and career guidance to students interested in international education opportunities. The advisor will support students in selecting suitable courses and universities, interpreting admission requirements, and planning academic pathways aligned with global career goals.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, reviewing profiles, assisting with application timelines, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely information.



The advisor will also help students understand scholarship options, entrance tests, and documentation needs, while maintaining detailed records and delivering clear, professional communication to students and families.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide comprehensive Student Counseling and Academic Advising for international education pathways.

- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and institutional partners.

- Experience or interest in Career Counseling and guiding learners toward global career opportunities.

- Background or formal training in Education or related fields that supports understanding of academic programs and admission processes.

- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, psychology, management, or a related discipline (advanced degrees are an advantage).

- Prior experience in academic advising, international admissions, or study abroad consulting is preferred.

- Comfort using digital tools and AI-driven platforms to analyze student profiles and recommend suitable programs.

- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.

- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and commitment to inclusive, unbiased guidance for students from diverse backgrounds.
