Role Description The Academic Advisor role at Hike Education is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram.

The Academic

Advisor will guide prospective and current learners in selecting suitable programs, including distance and online degrees and professional certification courses, aligned with their academic background and career goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, explaining course structures and university partnerships, addressing learner queries,



and supporting applicants through the admission and enrollment process. The role involves maintaining detailed records of interactions, following up with leads, coordinating with internal teams, and providing ongoing academic guidance to help learners succeed in their chosen programs.

Advisor is expected to contribute to a learner-centric environment and uphold Hike Education’s mission of enabling professionals to advance their careers through education.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide learners in making informed academic and professional choices.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written abilities, to interact with learners and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Academic Advising and Education-related skills to understand program structures, eligibility criteria, and learning pathways.
- Experience in academic counseling, EdTech, or higher education institutions is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace, manage multiple cases, and use CRM or similar tools for tracking learner interactions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a learner-focused mindset are highly valued.
