Job Title : A/c Technician

Job Objective To carry out basic servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and upkeep of split air conditioning units to ensure efficient cooling performance, proper functioning, and a comfortable working environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Basic A/C Servicing

- Perform routine servicing of split air conditioner indoor and outdoor units.
- Clean air filters, evaporator coils, condenser coils, and blower assemblies.
- Clean and inspect air conditioner drain trays and drain lines.
- Check and clean indoor and outdoor unit components.

2. Preventive Maintenance

- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance of split A/C units.
- Check cooling performance, airflow, abnormal noise, and vibration.
- Inspect electrical connections, wiring, capacitors, and other basic components.
- Check refrigerant leakage indications and report issues to the supervisor.

3. Basic Troubleshooting

- Identify common A/C issues such as inadequate cooling, water leakage, unusual noise, and airflow problems.
- Perform minor corrective maintenance within the technician's skill level.
- Escalate major breakdowns, gas charging, compressor issues, and complex electrical faults to the supervisor or specialist team.

4. Operational Support

- Attend A/C service complaints and breakdown calls.




- Maintain records of servicing, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper handling and secure usage of tools and service equipment.
- Follow safety procedures while working at height and handling electrical equipment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Basic knowledge of split air conditioner servicing and maintenance.
- Familiarity with electrical components and basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to use basic A/C service tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
- Physically fit and willing to work in a manufacturing plant environment.

Experience 1–3 years of relevant experience in split A/C servicing and maintenance preferred.

- Timely completion of scheduled A/C servicing.
- Proper upkeep and cleanliness of air conditioning units.
- Quick response to A/C complaints and breakdowns.
- Accurate maintenance records.
- Compliance with safety and client facility procedures.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
