Looking for a skilled 5G L2 (Layer 2) Protocol Stack developer preferrable in Gurgaon to contribute to development & maintenance 5G NR protocol stack aligned with 3GPP standards.
- Knowledge of 5G NR L2 protocols - MAC, RLC and PDCP layers with experience in developing wireless communication systems
- Understanding NR MAC functions as per 3GPP specifications like RACH, Timing Adjustment (TA)UL/DL HARQ, Multiplexing/Demultiplexing, CA, dual connectivity(ENDC)
- Understanding of Key functions TDD,FDD & procedures as 3GPP specs
- Development aspects of L2 data path & buffer management,
- Implementation of AM/UM/TM mode functions(retransmission, reordering, reassembling)
- management of RLC/PDCP windowing mechanism as per 3GPP state variables
- header compression, ciphering/integrity, and data flow management
- Development aspects of L2 data path & buffer management
- End to End validation with protocol stack
- Proficient in C/C++ programming
- Robust analytical and problem solving skills with debugging expertise
