Role Summary

Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and integration delivery teams by translating business requirements into MuleSoft-based integration solutions. Drive requirement gathering, process analysis, API and integration design discussions, and ensure business objectives are effectively implemented through enterprise integration platforms

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to gather, analyze, and document integration requirements.
- Translate business processes and functional requirements into detailed integration and API specifications.
- Analyze system interfaces, data flows, and integration dependencies across enterprise applications.
- Create and maintain business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications (FSDs), use cases, process flows, and user stories.
- Work closely with MuleSoft architects and developers to define API contracts, integration workflows, and transformation requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, backlog grooming sessions, and stakeholder reviews.
- Support API lifecycle management activities, including requirements validation, impact assessment, and change management.
- Define business rules, data mapping requirements, validation criteria, and acceptance criteria for integration solutions.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, and production readiness activities with business and technical teams.
- Identify integration process improvements and recommend opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Support incident analysis, root cause discussions, and business impact assessments for integration-related issues.
- Ensure traceability between business requirements, functional specifications, and delivered integration solutions

- Mandatory skills : • Strong experience in Business Analysis, Functional Consulting, or Integration Analysis roles. • Good understanding of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API-led connectivity concepts. • Experience gathering and documenting requirements for integration and API development initiatives. • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP Services, JSON, XML, data mapping, and integration patterns. • Experience creating user stories, business process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria. • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog management practices. • Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools. • Robust stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills. • Ability to work effectively with business users, architects, developers, QA, and support teams. • Experience in requirement traceability, impact analysis, and solution validation.
- Desired skills : • Exposure to MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API Manager, Exchange, and Runtime Manager. • Knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-based integration architectures. • Understanding of telecom ecosystems, BSS/OSS platforms, CRM, Billing, Order Management, and Customer Experience platforms. • Experience in API governance, enterprise integration frameworks, and digital transformation initiatives. • Familiarity with DataWeave, RAML, OpenAPI specifications, and API documentation standards. • Exposure to testing methodologies including SIT, UAT, and production deployment validation. • Knowledge of data migration, systems integration, and middleware technologies. • MuleSoft certification or Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) is preferred.
