Description

Minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Analytics Test Lead to ensure analytics outputs across Unified Data Layer, business intelligence, and data science pipelines are accurate, consistent, and fit for commercial decision making

- Act as the analytics test lead within an NRM analytics squad
- Design and execute end to end tests covering:
- Source data to Unified Data Layer to semantic models to BI outputs and data science models
- Data accuracy, completeness, freshness, and transformations
- Metric and KPI logic, including net revenue, margin, uplift, and elasticity inputs
- Alignment between engineered datasets, analytical models, and surfaced outputs
- Test front end analytics including Dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs, filters, aggregations, scenarios, and specific edge cases
- Support automation of analytical test cases where appropriate using SQL, Python, or data checks
- Define and apply appropriate testing approaches for data science pipelines, including:
- Input feature and training data validation
- Data leakage, bias, and completeness checks
- Sanity checks on model outputs and ranges
- Back testing or comparison against historical or expected behavior
- Work closely with Data Scientists to:
- Understand model intent, assumptions, and constraints
- Translate modelling logic into practical, testable scenarios
- Ensure consistency between validated model outputs and downstream dashboards or decision tools
