Principal responsibilities The job holder is responsible for technical delivery of 24x7 production support to MS SQL Sybase Database servers and Windows servers

Identify automation and Self Healing opportunities to reduce manual efforts and standardize processes

Investigate and provide solutions to database performance related issues query tuning knowledge will be an added advantage

Handle crisis calls

Proficient in maintaining complex High Availability Replication setups

Requirements

Experienced in MSSQL DBA activities versions 2012 to 2019

Experienced on MSSQL Log shipping Replication Mirroring Clustering Always On Availability Groups AG





Proficient in performance tuning of MSSQL servers

Proficient in using MSSQL Profiler Extended Events usage

Proactively identify capacity performance risks and recommend improvements

Automation self healing standardisation

Identify automation and self healing opportunities to reduce toil and standardize operational processes

Improve monitoring reduce noise and actionable s

Knowledge on Windows administration and PowerShell development will be an added advantage

Knowledge on Python and DevOps tools will be an added advantage
