Skunkworks Experiential Media is a design studio for live events. We partner with brands and agencies to create visual content, motion systems, and show concepts for events making sure the story on screen is sharp, cohesive, and true to the brand every time.

The Role

We're looking for a 3D Motion Designer to help bring show concepts and brand worlds to life visually. You'll work closely with designers and creative leads to build 3D visuals and motion content for live events, brand activations, and experiential campaigns content that has to look great on massive screens and hold up in a live show environment.

What You'll Do

- Design and animate 3D motion content for live events and brand activations
- Model, texture, light, and render 3D scenes and assets
- Build motion systems and visual elements that align with brand guidelines and show concepts
- Collaborate with designers and producers on storyboards, previs, and show concepts
- Prepare content in the right formats and resolutions for different screens and display systems




- Integrate 3D work with 2D graphics, video, and other motion elements where needed
- Keep project files and assets organized across multiple concurrent projects
- Participate in creative reviews and respond constructively to feedback

What We're Looking For

- Min 2 years of experience in 3D Design/Animation.
- Strong 3D motion design skills experience with events/live shows is a plus, but solid general 3D/motion work matters most
- Proficient in Blender, Cinema 4D or similar 3D software
- Comfortable with After Effects (or similar) for compositing and 2D/3D integration
- Understanding of lighting, texturing, and rendering fundamentals
- A good eye for timing, pacing, and visual storytelling
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Robust communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional creative and production teams
- A showreel or portfolio this is required
