Roles and Responsibilities

Dynatrace

1. End to End knowledge on Dynatrace implementation.
2. At least one PoC should have hands on experience.
3. Providing L1/L2/L3 support in Dynatrace all activities.
4. Should have strong in any one of the cloud implementations.
5. Expertise in Configure the Process and Service detection rules.
6. Good experience in RUM i.e. User action/session properties, request attributes, SLOs, calculated metrics, Mobile app user experience monitoring, Key user action metrics, Funnel charts for journeys etc
7. Easy to adapt new configurations based on the customer requirements.
8. Ability to understand and map key problem areas basis the explanation given by the customer.
9. Certified in Dynatrace Admin/Professional
10. Should have strong knowledge in all Dynatrace services and functionalities.
11. Expertise in problem solving within the deadlines without impact to the customer.

Technical skills
1. Strong Knowledge in Dynatrace tool administration concepts.
2. Experience on APM related areas on Java, .NET and PHP
3. Ability to direct and guide team to resolve crisis situations within prescribed SLAs
4. Ability to provide consultation for new projects, functionalities, migrations, upgrades.
5. Ability to direct and guide team to resolve crisis situations within prescribed SLAs
6. Ability to plan, initiate and manage special tasks/projects. Valuable analytical, trouble-shooting skills in the area of technical fault isolation and rectification.
7. Ability to resolve service requests. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes.
8. Strong Knowledge of ITSM processes

ELK( Elastic,



Logstash,Kibana):
- Design and development of the Elastic Stack of tools that monitor and manage critical applications and infrastructure.

- Evaluating and building existing Elastic clusters, configuration parameters, indexing, search and query performance tuning, security and administration.

- Optimize cluster settings, including shards, replicas, and refresh intervals.

- Design and configuration of ETL data pipelines using Elastic Common Schema to onboard application logs and metrics.

- Install, configure, and manage Elastic Stack components (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats).

- Configuration of index templates and data life cycle management ILM for data retention.

- Configure alerts and notifications for critical system events and anomalies.

- Development of Elastic alerting solutions using Watcher and Kibana or Grafana.

- Implement security best practices, including user authentication, authorization, and encryption.

- Integration of alerts from elastic stack, Prometheus and other observability tools into ITSM tools like ServiceNow.

- Collaborate with infra engineers, analysts, and application developers to understand their needs.

- Provide demos and technical guidance and mentorship to various teams.





- Design and configuration of Prometheus with Kibana for application tracing

Nagios:

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure and maintain Nagios Core/XI monitoring solutions.
- Monitor servers, applications, databases, and network devices.
- Troubleshoot monitoring alerts and performance issues.
- Develop and maintain custom plugins and monitoring scripts.
- Integrate Nagios with ticketing and notification systems.
- Generate monitoring reports and dashboards.
- Support incident management and SLA compliance.

Required Skills:

- Experience with Nagios Core/Nagios XI.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration knowledge.
- Understanding of SNMP, NRPE, NCPA, and network monitoring.
- Scripting experience in Shell, Python, Perl, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and troubleshooting.
