We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software quality assurance, test planning, test execution, defect management, API and database testing, and automation framework development.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and modern QA practices. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is expected, with Playwright preferred.
The role will involve working closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable software releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Test Planning & Strategy: Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation to define test strategies, scope, effort, timelines, and test coverage.
- Manual Testing: Design and execute comprehensive test cases and scenarios covering functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and UAT testing.
- Test Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, test data, test execution reports, and other QA documentation.
- Automation Testing: Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
- Automation Framework Development: Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or Appium.
- Regression & Smoke Automation: Automate regression and smoke test suites to improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and release cycles.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, track, prioritize, and verify defects throughout the defect lifecycle using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
- API Testing: Perform API testing and validation using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, SOAP UI, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Database Testing: Validate database records, data integrity, data flow, and backend processes using SQL and relational databases.
- End-to-End Testing: Validate complete business workflows across applications, APIs,



databases, and integrated systems.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
- Quality & Risk Management: Perform risk-based testing, identify potential quality risks, and recommend appropriate testing strategies and mitigation approaches.
- Performance & Optimization: Analyze test execution and automation results, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Release Validation: Support release and deployment validation activities and ensure software meets defined quality standards before production release.
- Quality Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, tools, frameworks, and best practices.
- Technical Contribution: Participate in code reviews, test strategy discussions, technical discussions, and automation roadmap planning.
- Mentoring: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers and contribute to building overall team capabilities.
- AI & GenAI Product Testing : Hands on experience with testing GenAI-powered applications.
- Experience validating: Hands on experience in validating LLM responses, Prompt workflows, RAG applications, MCP-based integrations, AI Agents and Agentic Workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Strong experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
- Hands-on experience with one or more automation tools such as:
- Selenium WebDriver




- Cypress
- Playwright (Preferred)
- TestNG / JUnit
- Cucumber / BDD
- Appium

- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, SOAP UI, or Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Experience working with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Git, Maven, or Gradle.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM/Quality Center, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

- Hands-on experience with Playwright and modern automation frameworks.
- Experience developing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experience testing Microservices Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of API automation frameworks.
- Understanding of Security and Accessibility Testing.
- Experience with healthcare domain applications, including HIPAA, HL7, EHR/EMR, Claims, Eligibility, or Revenue Cycle.
- Experience with FHIR-based integrations.
- Exposure to MCP and AI-assisted workflow testing.
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD and continuous testing practices.
- Experience with test automation reporting, monitoring, and quality metrics.
- Understanding of hallucination detection and output quality evaluation.
