Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Business Development Executive / Upwork Bidder who has hands-on experience working on Upwork, Freelancer, and other freelance platforms to generate leads, submit proposals, acquire clients, and drive business growth for our IT services.

The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of the IT industry, software development services, client requirements, proposal writing, and online bidding platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and optimize company profiles on Upwork, Freelancer, and other freelancing platforms..
- Search and identify relevant IT projects and business opportunities..
- Prepare and submit customized, high-quality proposals/bids according to client requirements..
- Generate leads through Upwork, Freelancer, LinkedIn, and other online channels..
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with the technical team to prepare suitable solutions and proposals..
- Handle initial client communication, follow-ups, and negotiations..
- Maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients..
- Track submitted proposals, responses, follow-ups, and conversions..
- Work towards achieving monthly lead generation, bidding, and revenue targets..
- Research market trends,



competitors, and new business opportunities in the IT sector..
- Convert qualified leads into successful projects and long-term client relationships..

Required Skills

- 1–3 years of proven experience in Upwork/Freelancer bidding for IT services..
- Strong understanding of the IT/software development industry..
- Hands-on experience with Upwork, Freelancer, or similar platforms..
- Excellent proposal writing and client communication skills..
- Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into business proposals..
- Good negotiation and follow-up skills..
- Experience in lead generation and client acquisition..
- Strong English communication skills – written and verbal..
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach..

Preferred IT Service Knowledge

Candidates with an understanding of services such as:

Web Development | Mobile App Development | UI/UX | Digital Marketing | Software Development | AI/ML | Cloud | DevOps | SEO

will be preferred.
