Key responsibilities

Are you passionate about financial markets and product control? Do you enjoy analysing complex financial products and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting? Are you looking for a role where you can combine strong accounting knowledge with controls, stakeholder management, and innovation?

We are looking for a Product Controller to support financial reporting, balance sheet controls, and profit and loss analysis across a range of trading products while helping to strengthen processes through automation and digital solutions.

- analyse and review daily profit and loss and balance sheet reporting for FX, Equity Derivatives, Cash Equities, and SLF products, ensuring issues are identified, resolved, or escalated as appropriate

- implement and maintain accounting controls and governance standards to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting

- reconcile trade capture system feeds to the general ledger, manage journal entries, and support month-end close and trial balance substantiation activities

- prepare financial statements, management reporting, and information required by internal and external auditors and testing teams

- collaborate with stakeholders across trading, finance, and product control functions to enhance reporting quality, efficiency, and control effectiveness

- drive process improvements through agile ways of working, automation, and the adoption of digital and AI-enabled technologies

The team

You’ll be joining the FX, Equity Derivatives, Cash Equities, or SLF Product Control team in Pune or Hyderabad.



The team works closely with colleagues in Zurich and trading teams across the globe to deliver accurate management profit and loss reporting and financial information. As a Product Controller, you’ll play an important role in supporting business decision-making, maintaining financial integrity, and ensuring effective controls across a global trading setting. The team combines a strong focus on excellence and accountability with a collaborative and supportive culture.

Your skills and experience

- Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, master’s degree, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- experience in Product Control, Financial Reporting, Reconciliations, or a similar finance role within a financial services environment

- strong understanding of accounting principles and financial products across their lifecycle

- proven ability to develop and maintain robust financial controls across cost and revenue reporting processes

- strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work

- proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a robust digital mindset, with hands-on experience using Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, or similar AI tools

- knowledge of Python, VBA, or other automation technologies is an advantage

- excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences and work effectively across global teams
