Job Description:

- Manage and oversee day-to-day production activities in transformer manufacturing.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to achieve targets within timelines.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery and materials.
- Monitor production quality and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Coordinate with Design, Quality, Purchase, Stores and Maintenance teams.
- Improve production efficiency, productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Monitor production processes and identify areas for process improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company policies.
- Handle manpower planning, shift management and team performance.
- Monitor production KPIs and prepare regular MIS reports.




- Resolve production-related issues and ensure timely order completion.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement initiatives wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to SOPs.
- Lead and motivate the production team to achieve organizational targets.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 15–20 years of experience in Transformer Manufacturing is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of transformer manufacturing processes.
- Experience in production planning, manpower management and shop-floor operations.
- Robust leadership and team-handling skills.
- Good understanding of quality, safety and production systems.
- Candidates from Power Transformer / Distribution Transformer manufacturing background will be preferred.
