Job Description: Senior Engineer (High-Rise Residential)

Job Purpose

To lead, manage, and oversee site execution for high-rise residential building projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that both reinforced cement concrete (RCC) structural work and high-end finishing works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision

- Lead high-rise construction operations from excavation through structural completion to final handover.
- Supervise RCC works including formwork, reinforcement binding, concrete pouring, and curing processes.
- Manage finishing activities such as brickwork, plastering, flooring, painting, waterproofing, and external facade work.
- Interpret structural drawings, architectural plans, and MEP layouts to ensure accurate on-site execution.
- 2. Planning & Resource Management

- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly progress schedules in coordination with the project planning team.
- Allocate manpower, materials, and machinery efficiently to avoid project delays or idle resources.
- Track material consumption on-site to minimize wastage and maintain optimum inventory levels.
- 3. Quality Assurance & Safety Compliance

- Enforce strict quality control measures for all RCC and finishing finishes, adhering to IS codes and company standards.




- Conduct routine inspections and checklists for concrete pouring, slump tests, cube casting, and finishing alignments.
- Maintain zero-accident standards by ensuring all site laborers and sub-contractors strictly follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
- 4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with sub-contractors, labor piece-rates, and specialized agencies to drive daily progress.
- Certify contractor bills and joint measurements accurately based on physical work completed on site.
- Collaborate with architects, structural consultants, and project managers to resolve site queries (RFIs) promptly.

Technical Skills & Experience

- Minimum 6+ years of site execution experience, specifically in high-rise residential building projects.
- Deep expertise in high-rise RCC construction, including contemporary formwork systems (e.g., Mivan/aluminum shuttering, conventional systems).
- Strong background in high-end finishing works with an eye for detail, alignment, and aesthetic perfection.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, structural drawings, and using surveying instruments or layout tools.
- Qualifications & Soft Skills

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage large labour forces, junior engineers, and multiple sub-contractors.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to report progress and coordinate with management.
