The Pharmacist will be responsible for managing and dispensing medicines as per prescriptions provided by the Medical Officer during MMU health camps. The role also includes maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with drug regulations, and patient counseling on medicine usage.
- Essential: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) / Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution
- Mandatory: Valid registration with State Pharmacy Council
- Sound knowledge of medicines, dosages, and drug interactions
- Accurate dispensing of prescriptions
- Inventory management and drug storage compliance
- Patient communication and guidance on medicine usage
- Basic knowledge of digital data entry and prescription recording
- Ability to work in rural/outreach settings
- Understanding of cold chain and expiry management
