Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow applications with a focus on HRSD, Employee Center, Employee Workflows, Knowledge Management, and Employee Experience.

• Develop custom applications using App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and the Now Experience Framework.

• Build and customize Employee Center pages, components, widgets, and experiences using UI Builder and Service Portal.

• Design and implement employee workflows for onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, promotions, leave requests, and other HR business processes.

• Develop News, Announcements, and Content Management capabilities to improve employee communications and engagement.

• Create reusable components, business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI actions, and Flow Designer automations.

• Develop REST and SOAP integrations with enterprise HR, identity management, payroll, and third-party applications.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.

• Participate in solution design, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production deployments.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues while optimizing application performance and usability.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, coding standards, and development best practices.





• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Corporate Communications, IT, and Enterprise Architecture to deliver innovative employee experience solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• 7+ years of enterprise application development experience.

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.

• Solid experience with HRSD, Employee Center, Employee Workflows, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, ITSM, and custom application development.

• Expertise with App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, UI Builder, Now Experience Framework, and Service Portal.

• Strong JavaScript development skills, including Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and ACLs.

• Experience developing REST/SOAP APIs and integrating ServiceNow with enterprise applications.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and requirements gathering skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist HR Service Delivery (CIS-HR).

• Experience with Employee Center Pro, AI Search, Virtual Agent, Employee Journey Management, Workplace Service Delivery, and Agile/Scrum.
