Role & responsibilities

- Lead HSE management for heavy industrial construction projects and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct HSE inspections, audits, HIRA, risk assessments, and safety reviews.
- Implement JSA/JHA, Method Statements, PTW, Emergency Response Plans, and safety procedures.
- Ensure safe execution of lifting, work at height, scaffolding, excavation, confined space, hot work, electrical, and heavy equipment activities.
- Monitor crane operations, lifting plans, rigging, material handling, and equipment safety.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, client, and project HSE requirements.
- Lead incident investigation, RCA, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, training, and emergency mock drills.
- Manage contractor/subcontractor safety compliance through audits and inspections.
- Track HSE KPIs, incidents, near misses, LTIs, and safety observations.
- Coordinate with Project, Construction, Engineering, Client, PMC,



and statutory authorities on HSE matters.
- Drive Zero Harm, Behaviour-Based Safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper availability and use of PPE, firefighting, first-aid, and emergency response facilities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports, MIS, and compliance reports

Preferred candidate profile

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma with NEBOSH / ADIS / IOSH or equivalent Safety qualification.
- Experience in Heavy Industrial / EPC / Construction projects.
- Exposure to Steel, Cement, Power, Manufacturing, Process Plants, or Heavy Engineering projects.
- Robust knowledge of HIRA, PTW, JSA, Lifting & Rigging, Work at Height, Confined Space, and Incident Investigation.
- Experience in Contractor Safety Management, Statutory Compliance, HSE Audits, and Team Leadership.
- Immediate Joiners are preferred
