We have an immediate requirement for a Data QA Engineer. Please share relevant profiles matching the below requirements.

Position: Data QA Engineer
Experience: 5+ years
Location: Remote (Visit client office in Bangalore once in 6 months if needed, all expenses will be bear by Softude)

Key Skills Mandatory

- Strong experience in Data QA / Data Quality Testing
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
- Strong SQL skills
- Good experience in ETL Testing
- Hands-on experience in Data Reconciliation
- Experience with Source-to-Target Data Validation
- Valuable experience in Python Scripting for data validation/testing
- Strong understanding of data quality, data integrity, and validation
- Experience in defect tracking, RCA, and defect closure
- Experience preparing test cases, test evidence, traceability, and QA status reports
- Ability to independently manage QA activities, dependencies, and release readiness

Key Responsibilities




- Perform end-to-end data validation across source and target systems.
- Validate ETL pipelines, transformations, and data accuracy.
- Perform data reconciliation and identify data discrepancies.
- Use SQL, Python, and Databricks for data validation and analysis.
- Track defects through closure and perform RCA for data issues.
- Maintain complete test evidence and traceability.
- Provide timely QA status updates and highlight risks/dependencies.
- Support release readiness and QA sign-off activities.
