We are hiring a Standalone Modern Trade Manager in Bangalore to lead our retail operations and drive brand growth for a leading FMCG brand. If you have 4+ years of experience in supermarket management, distributor establishment, and retail operations, we want you on our team. Job Overview As the Standalone Modern Trade Manager, you will take complete ownership of store expansion, retail operations, and sales growth across Bangalore. You will be responsible for everything from negotiating with property owners and onboarding new outlets to managing stakeholder relationships, training store staff, and optimizing secondary sales. Key Responsibilities Expansion & Partner Onboarding

- Outlet Onboarding: Identify, evaluate, and onboard standalone modern trade outlets and supermarkets across Bangalore.

- Owner Negotiations: Connect and negotiate commercial terms directly with property and store owners.

- Distributor Network: Establish and manage a robust distributor network to ensure seamless product supply to all stores.

Retail Operations & Merchandising

- Store Visibility: Execute visual merchandising strategies to maximize brand visibility and shelf share.

- Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day store operations, inventory levels, and stock availability.

- Product Listing:



Manage current product introductions (NPI) and ensure optimal product placement on shelves.

Sales & Commercial Strategy

- Secondary Sales: Implement local sales strategies to accelerate secondary sales and stock rotation.

- Pricing Correction: Monitor market dynamics and implement timely pricing corrections to stay competitive.

- Competitor Benchmarking: Analyze competitor pricing, promotions, and strategies to identify growth opportunities.

Team & Stakeholder Management

- Training & Development: Train, mentor, and develop in-store staff and promoters on product knowledge and customer service.

- Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with store owners, distributors, category managers, and internal cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in FMCG retail operations, supermarket management, or Modern Trade.

- Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore (deep knowledge of the Bangalore retail market is highly preferred).

- Skills: Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
