Exp: 14+ years Employment Type Full Time PLM Architecture / Engineering IT Location: Bangalore/ Pune/ Hyderabad Position Summary The Windchill Architect will be responsible for designing scalable PLM solutions, leading Windchill data model architecture, and guiding complex migration and integration projects. The role requires deep technical expertise in Windchill, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders. Architect and design end to end Windchill PLM solutions. Develop scalable Windchill data models, including object structures, lifecycles, workflows, OIRs, and ACLs. Define system integration strategies, deployment patterns, and solution blueprints. Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and performance evaluations. Lead Windchill migration projects including planning, mapping, validation, and execution. Define migration strategies using Windchill Bulk Data Migrator (BDM). Oversee data transformation, cleansing, and post migration quality checks. Collaborate with cross functional teams for seamless migration delivery. Core Responsibilities CAD External Integrations Lead and support CAD integrations with Creo and other CAD tools. Architect integrations between Windchill and external enterprise systems (ERP, MES, CAD, legacy PLM). Define integration patterns using Windchill APIs, REST/SOAP services, and middleware. Provide architectural guidance to development, admin,



and QA teams. Establish best practices, coding standards, and governance for PLM solutions. Mentor junior engineers and support team growth and capability building. Lead technical discussions, solution workshops, and decision making forums. 14+ years of strong experience in PTC Windchill architecture, design, and implementation. Deep expertise in Windchill Data Modeling and enterprise configurations. Robust experience in Windchill Bulk Data Migrator (BDM). Hands on knowledge of CAD integrations (preferably Creo). Experience designing and implementing integrations using Windchill services, APIs, and middleware. Strong understanding of Windchill modules (PDMLink, ProjectLink, Change Management, etc.). Nice to Have Skills Experience with other PLM systems such as Teamcenter, 3DExperience, Agile PLM, etc. Knowledge of Java, Info*Engine, REST/SOAP, SQL, and server administration. Experience with cloud deployments or multi site architectures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership and decision making abilities. Self motivated with a proactive mindset. Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to collaborate across diverse technical and business teams. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
