Role: Teach IB MYP/Psychology-related content and IBDP Psychology, and provide behaviour counselling and socio-emotional support to secondary students in line with 10X’s innovation and well-being focus.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and teach engaging MYP Humanities/Psychology-related units and IBDP Psychology (SL/HL) aligned to IB curricula.
- Guide students through MYP assessments, DP IA, essays, and exam preparation.
- Provide individual and group behaviour counselling, supporting students with emotional regulation, study habits, and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and parents to design and implement behaviour support plans and well-being initiatives.
- Maintain confidential records,
track student progress, and contribute to school-wide SEL and positive-behaviour programmes.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s in Psychology;
teaching qualification and/or counselling certification.
- 2+ years’ experience in secondary teaching;
IB DP Psychology and/orMYP experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in school counselling, behaviour management, or student well-being roles.
- Robust communication, facilitation, and assessment skills;
sensitivity to adolescent mental health and safeguarding.
