We are seeking an experienced engineer to architect, modernize, and own our end-to-end batch data infrastructure, ETL workflows, and backend services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, migrate, and operate highly scalable batch data pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Develop high-volume data transformation solutions using Java, Python, and Apache Spark.
- Build and integrate robust REST APIs to connect data systems with backend services.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and performance-tune production pipelines for maximum reliability.
- Drive CI/CD automation, version control, and engineering best practices across the team.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12 years of hands-on experience in backend and data engineering.
- Deep expertise in Java, Python, and distributed processing via Apache Spark.
- Proven track record building and migrating large-scale data integrations and REST APIs.
- Solid proficiency in modern DevOps practices, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exceptional debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
Preferred Skills
- Cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data lake architectures.
- Workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
