Role Description

We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Abroad Education Counsellor to join our team in Kozhikode . The Counsellor will guide students in selecting suitable countries, universities, and courses based on their academic background, career goals, and individual preferences.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students and parents.
- Understand students' academic profiles, career goals, and study-abroad preferences.
- Provide guidance on suitable countries, universities, courses, and intakes.
- Explain admission requirements, eligibility criteria, tuition fees, scholarships, and available opportunities.
- Handle student enquiries through calls, walk-ins, online platforms, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and support them through the admission process.
- Coordinate with the application team to ensure smooth and timely application processing.
- Maintain accurate student records, follow-up details,



and counselling reports.
- Stay updated on university requirements, admission policies, intakes, and changes in the overseas education sector.
- Participate in education fairs, university events, seminars, school/college outreach programs, and other promotional activities when required.
- Achieve assigned counselling, application, and enrolment targets.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Prior experience in study-abroad counselling, overseas education, sales, or student recruitment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international education destinations, universities, courses, and admission processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling, active listening, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to understand student requirements and recommend suitable study options.
- Strong follow-up and customer relationship management skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Good proficiency in English; additional language skills will be an advantage.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM/online communication tools.
- Ability to work full-time and on-site in Kozhikode .
