Job Summary
Responsible for operating cutting machines and accurately cutting fabric according to approved patterns, measurements, and production requirements while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate cutting machines safely and efficiently.
- Cut fabric according to patterns, markers, measurements, and production specifications.
- Check fabric spreading and alignment before cutting.
- Ensure accurate cutting to minimize fabric wastage.
- Inspect cut panels for defects, uneven edges, and incorrect measurements.
- Separate and bundle cut components according to size, colour, style, and quantity.
- Label and identify cut bundles correctly.
- Follow production schedules and achieve daily cutting targets.
- Maintain cutting machines and report any machine problems to the supervisor.
- Follow safety procedures and use required protective equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping in the cutting area.
- Coordinate with the Cutting Supervisor and other departments as required.

- Basic knowledge of garment cutting processes.
- Ability to understand measurements and cutting instructions.
- Positive attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to operate cutting equipment safely.

Qualification
- Education: 8th / 10th / 12th standard preferred.
- Experience: Freshers can be considered; previous garment cutting experience is an advantage.
