Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation + Manual Tester with extensive experience in mobile test automation using Appium and solid expertise in manual testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks for mobile and web applications while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions. The role requires close collaboration with development, DevOps, and product teams to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks for mobile applications (iOS and Android) using Appium.
- Perform manual testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Support the design, development, and maintenance of web automation test suites.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Review automation code and participate in peer code reviews to ensure best practices and maintain code quality.
- Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and product owners to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Create, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Track, analyze, and report test execution metrics, defects,



and overall quality status to stakeholders.
- Contribute to performance, load, reliability, and scalability testing initiatives where applicable.
- Lead automated testing activities across multiple concurrent projects and releases.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive adoption of modern testing tools, frameworks, and best practices.
- Mentor and coach team members on automation testing techniques, tools, and quality engineering practices.
- Provide production support and participate in occasional out-of-hours testing or release activities as required.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

- 8-10 years of experience in Software Testing with a strong mix of Automation and Manual Testing.
- Hands-on experience in Appium for mobile test automation across Android and iOS platforms.
- Experience with web automation tools such as Selenium or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, test execution, and defect management processes.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
