This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Immigration Paralegal based in India.

This is a fully remote, independent contractor opportunity supporting U.S. business immigration matters from India.
You’ll take ownership of preparing complex employment-based immigration forms and supporting documentation from start to finish.
The role requires solid technical knowledge of U.S. immigration filings, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
You’ll prepare submission-ready case packets that meet current USCIS requirements and internal quality standards.
Your work will directly support legal teams handling time-sensitive immigration cases for business and professional clients.
Cases are assigned on an as-needed basis, with an initial workload of approximately five cases per month.
High-performing contractors may have the opportunity to develop into a preferred, long-term partner.

Accountabilities

- Draft, review, and finalize complex business immigration forms and supporting documentation with a high level of accuracy.

- Prepare and complete employment-based immigration filings, including I-129, PERM, I-140, I-539/I-539A, and I-485 petitions and applications.

- Review case information and supporting evidence to ensure packets are complete, consistent, and submission-ready.

- Ensure filings comply with current USCIS form instructions, fee schedules, procedural requirements, and evidentiary standards.

- Conduct thorough quality-control reviews to help minimize the risk of Requests for Evidence (RFEs), rejections, or filing delays.

- Organize and compile case files using clear, logical structures that enable seamless handoff to the internal legal operations team.

- Manage assigned cases independently and deliver completed packets within established turnaround times.





- Maintain consistent accuracy and attention to detail across forms, supporting documentation, and case data.

- Communicate clearly with the legal team regarding case requirements, missing information, or potential issues requiring attention.

Requirements

- At least 3 years of direct experience as a Business Immigration Paralegal handling employment-based U.S. immigration matters.

- Demonstrated expertise with I-129, PERM, I-140, I-539/I-539A, and I-485 filings, including detailed knowledge of applicable form instructions and filing requirements.

- Strong understanding of business and employment-based immigration case preparation and documentation.

- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, training, or onboarding.

- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when reviewing legal documents, entering case information, and checking filing requirements.

- Robust organizational and file-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple case requirements and deadlines.

- Ability to consistently deliver accurate, high-quality work within fast and predictable turnaround times.

- Professional fluency in written and spoken English.

- Comfortable working remotely as an independent contractor and coordinating with a distributed legal operations team.

- Strong judgment and a proactive approach to identifying inconsistencies, missing documentation, or potential filing issues.
