FundHive helps asset managers create, update and manage fund documents through connected workflows. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a developer who wants to help us build and improve the product as we scale.
The role
This is a hands-on development role with a strong backend focus. Around 70–80% of your work will involve Java development, with opportunities to contribute to the frontend, testing and deployment.
You’ll join a growing team where you can take ownership of features and fixes, learn the product in depth and see the impact of your work.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain backend features using Java 8, Spring MVC, Hibernate and SQL.
- Support and improve applications deployed on Tomcat 9.
- Investigate tickets, troubleshoot issues and deliver reliable fixes.
- Make frontend changes using Angular 8, TypeScript and PrimeNG when needed.
- Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD and deployments using tools including Cypress and Jenkins.
- Work with colleagues to understand requirements and develop practical solutions.
- Write transparent, maintainable code and useful technical documentation.
What we’re looking for
- At least 2–3 years of software development experience, including hands-on Java development.
- Working knowledge of Spring MVC, Hibernate and SQL.
- Confidence investigating problems and working in an established codebase.
- A willingness to take ownership, ask good questions and work across the stack when needed.
- Clear communication and a practical approach to testing and delivery.
Experience with Angular, TypeScript, PrimeNG, Tomcat, Jenkins or Cypress would be valuable. You don’t need to know every tool on day one: strong Java foundations and the ability to learn matter most.
