Role Description This is an on-site internship role for a Video Editor based in Bengaluru.

The Video

Editor will assist in editing brand films and social content, assembling footage, selecting the best takes, and creating compelling narratives aligned with each project’s emotional goals. Day-to-day tasks include working closely with directors and writers, applying basic color grading, and incorporating motion graphics or straightforward visual elements when needed. The role also involves organizing project files, maintaining a clear post-production workflow, and delivering edits in required formats and timelines.





The intern will be expected to collaborate with the small creative team, contribute ideas during reviews, and adapt to feedback to refine the final output.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in video production and a basic understanding of the end-to-end video workflow.
- Candidates should possess skills in video editing, including trimming, sequencing, pacing, and sound-syncing.
- Candidates should possess skills in video color grading, with the ability to adjust exposure, contrast, and color tone to match the desired mood.
- Candidates should possess skills in motion graphics and graphics, including simple text animations and visual assets for video.
- Proficiency with standard editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) is preferred.
- Strong storytelling sense, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret creative briefs effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site studio environment, take feedback constructively, and meet deadlines.
- Relevant coursework, portfolio, or prior project experience in video or film is beneficial; formal degree in media, film, design, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
