Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the store. The Store Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing store staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of store presentation and operations.

Key Responsibilities1. Store Operations

- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the store.
- Ensure smooth opening and closing of the store.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and visual merchandising.
- Ensure all store policies, procedures, and company standards are followed.
- Coordinate with management regarding operational requirements and challenges.

2. Sales & Business Development
- Drive store sales and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor daily sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop strategies to increase customer walk-ins, conversions, and repeat business.
- Promote products, offers, seasonal collections, and special campaigns.
- Maintain strong relationships with key and repeat customers.

3. Team Management
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the store sales team.
- Allocate daily responsibilities and monitor employee performance.
- Conduct regular team briefings and provide feedback.
- Train employees on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
- Manage staff attendance, discipline, grooming, and workplace conduct.

4. Customer Service
- Ensure a high-quality customer experience at all times.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Assist customers with product selection and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat purchases.

5. Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels and ensure proper stock availability.
- Coordinate stock receiving, transfers, replenishment, and dispatches.




- Conduct regular stock checks and support periodic physical stock audits.
- Minimize stock loss, damage, and discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the purchase/warehouse team for inventory requirements.

6. Cash & Billing Management
- Ensure accurate billing and payment collection.
- Monitor daily cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions.
- Ensure proper cash-handling procedures are followed.
- Review daily sales and cash reports and report discrepancies promptly.

7. Reporting & Administration
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly store reports.
- Track sales, targets, inventory, customer feedback, and staff performance.
- Maintain required store records and documentation.
- Coordinate with HR, Accounts, Operations, and Management whenever required.

Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience in retail/store operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in premium retail, gifting, lifestyle, fashion, jewellery, or similar sectors will be an advantage.
