We are looking for a Software QA Intern who is passionate about software quality, learning new technologies, and building reliable enterprise applications.

Position OverviewWe are hiring trained QA candidates with 0–1 year of experience who have a foundational understanding of manual software testing and want to gain practical experience working on a real-world enterprise SaaS platform.

As a QA Intern, you will work closely with developers, senior QA members, and project stakeholders to identify defects, validate business workflows, and ensure the quality of the INBO platform.

This role is suitable for freshers who have completed QA training, software testing courses, or academic projects in software testing.

Key Responsibilities1. Manual Software Testing

- Understand business requirements and functional specifications.
- Prepare and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
- Validate web application features across different modules.
- Identify UI, functional, and workflow-related defects.
- Verify bug fixes and perform retesting.

2. INBO ERP & Business Application TestingWork on real-world business workflows, including:
- Inventory and warehouse management.
- Stock entry, GRN, and inventory movements.
- Procurement (MR, PR, PO, RFQ).
- Sales orders and invoicing.
- Accounting and financial workflows.
- CRM and customer feedback management.
- HRMS and employee management.





Understand how business transactions flow across different modules and verify data accuracy and process consistency.
- Defect Reporting & Tracking
- Log defects with transparent descriptions, reproduction steps, and expected vs. actual results.
- Capture screenshots and supporting evidence.
- Track defects through their lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve reported issues.
- Participate in defect review and prioritization discussions.

4. API & Database Testing (Learning Chance)
- Learn and execute basic API testing using Postman.
- Validate HTTP methods, response codes, and API responses.
- Perform basic SQL queries to verify backend data.
- Understand frontend-to-backend integration and data consistency.

5. Quality Assurance Practices
- Follow QA processes and testing standards.
- Maintain test execution reports.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and QA discussions.
- Contribute to improving test coverage.
- Learn automation testing and CI/CD quality practices over time.

Required Skills & QualificationsMust Have
- Completed training in Manual Software Testing / Software QA.
- Basic knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Understanding of software testing concepts.
- Knowledge of test case creation and execution.
- Understanding of defect life cycle.
- Familiarity with functional and regression testing.
- Basic knowledge of web applications.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.

Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with Postman and API testing.
- Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodology.
- Basic knowledge of Jira, Bitbucket,



or other issue tracking tools.
- Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Knowledge of browser developer tools.
