ABOUT THE ROLE

Build the interfaces businesses use to understand their finances and make decisions. As a Software Engineer focused on frontend at WFYI Technology, you will own analytics dashboards, dense financial tables, and workflows that turn complex data into clear actions.

We want someone who can reason about architecture and performance, make thoughtful design decisions, and ship dependable software. You will work across React, Next.js, and TypeScript, from the first interaction design through deployment and production improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Build interactive dashboards, charts, and financial tables with filtering, sorting, drill-downs, and exports. Keep the experience responsive as datasets grow.
- Make dense financial information understandable with thoughtful layout, useful defaults, and responsive interactions across desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
- Design frontend architecture, reusable components, and predictable state management. Work with backend engineers on API contracts and server-side data operations.
- Measure and improve page loading, rendering, and interaction latency. Use profiling, virtualization, and bundle optimization; reduce redundant API calls through appropriate caching, debouncing, batching, and cancellation.
- Build conversational interfaces and agent-assisted workflows with clear progress, loading, error, and recovery states.
- Translate complex requirements into intuitive interactions. Contribute ideas, prototype alternatives, and refine visual hierarchy, accessibility, and usability.
- Help take the web product into an initial mobile app.



Choose a practical cross-platform approach, reuse suitable components, and adapt navigation, authentication, and performance for real devices.
- Own frontend delivery and reliability, including CI/CD, deployments, caching, error monitoring, and production debugging.
- Own features from problem discovery through production. Write meaningful tests, measure performance and user outcomes, and use feedback to decide what to improve next.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 1 year of full-time, non-internship software engineering experience.
- Experience shipping and maintaining web applications used in production, with clear ownership of the features or systems you built.
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals, practical React and Next.js experience, and a solid understanding of browser behavior, HTML, and CSS.
- Good problem-solving and data structure skills. You can reason about complexity, asynchronous operations, state transitions, and the tradeoffs in your implementation.
- Experience with complex data interfaces such as dashboards, interactive charts, or large tables. You understand pagination, virtualization, and how to divide work between the browser and server.
- Ability to diagnose performance problems using browser tools and profiling, explain the root cause, and verify that a change improves the experience.
- Sound understanding of API integration, data fetching, caching, and asynchronous state, including stale requests and failure handling.
- Good design judgment, curiosity, and attention to detail. You can make dense information readable,



explain the thinking behind an interaction, and propose useful alternatives when requirements are incomplete.
- Comfortable with Git and frontend DevOps, including builds, CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring. Hands-on AWS experience is a plus.
- Experience adapting web products into mobile apps with React Native, Expo, Capacitor, or a comparable approach is preferred. You should be willing to learn the mobile-specific work needed for an initial release.
